Act of kindness

I had a long summer holiday and it was my first (no summer in Brunei). I had so much fun even if I had to babysit my smaller siblings in the morning. But at the end of it, I have to go back to UK. I know I have to continue my  A level studies and I will do my best this year. Why do I not blog in Brunei? My Wifi connection was a big trouble because it can't be connected. I end up internet free in Brunei. Oh well.

Now I am sitting down here in my room in Harrogate ladies' college Tower House. I'm finally settling in when I look back the journey from Brunei to London and to Harrogate that I did alone. The reason for my solo journey was that my friends have to go somewhere around London while I really want to go back to school immediately.

Firstly, the air flight took about 16 hours. Unfortunately the row of seats that I was seated was experiencing some technical problem with the small tv and we don't have any entertainment for the whole journey. It was dull that I have to spend my plane journey just to write my personal statement. When we finally arrive in London we went straight to Brunei Hall and at 12.00 I have to catch a train to Harrogate which took me about 3 hours.

On the train, I was worried at first but on the first train I sat next to a teenage girl who was also alone. Going back to school I guess. That was nice, I felt a bit safe. On the second train I met an elderly couple. They were really nice. They told me stories about Harrogate and some big towns nearby. They showed me alot of interesting things along the way. The most touching thing was that they decided to stop in Harrogate to send me to the taxi stop and they then took the bus to go back home! Just when I sat on the taxi, they vanished. Haha sounds like some kind of fiction. But I'm serious. They were really fast for a couple that old.Anyway I hope I can meet them again. I felt really safe going back. I did :)

In UK, I am a part of a committee, Brunei A level committee. I am one of the person in charge of it's blog and so guess what? I'm writing two blogs. In Brunei, as I said I can't open the internet but now I can and will continue both my blog and BruAls blog. www.bruals-uk.blogspot.com I will put a direct link from my blog to that blog soon!  Hope you can enjoy reading both blogs~
