Kota Kinabalu is a popular vacation place for the Bruneians.It is the capital city of Sabah,Malaysia and it is considered close to Brunei(somehow close by aeroplane).K.K is a fast growing centre.
My family went to Kota KInabalu and experience ourselves,fascinating places of Kota Kinabalu.
Ofcourse for the shopaholics or even the non-shopaholics will love the big shopping centre,1 borneo which is attached to several hotels and apartments.Half an hour away from its capital.It was really big it took hourss just to walk around inside the building.I watched movies,played bowling and listen to my cousins sing in the karaoke box in 1borneo:p
During our stay there,Siti Nurhaliza,the malaysian singer and many others were performing there too.Unfortunately we were out for dinner so we missed it.
Hmmm fascinating when I saw alot of banners with the words'negeri di bawah bayu' or 'land below the wind'.I asked my mother what it means and she said that clouds looks nearer to the ground.and so it is chilly:)
Kota Kinabalu is also famous for its mountain,Mount KInabalu(Which I wish to climb one day).There is a park to start climbing,take pictures or buy souveniers.We actually need luck to see this mountain clearly because it keeps hiding on its blanket of clouds(shy i guess,hehe).But yeah we were lucky this time.We even saw how shiny the rocks were.Beautiful!
We didnt go to the actual park this time.We went visiting some of the places along the hilly road to and from the park .
We visit a cow farm and saw the milk packing process.This place is KK's New Zealand.We also went to this fish pond where we put in our feet inside the water.Ticklish and scary!During the trip along the hills,we can see alot of farms and houses along other hills.It was a magnificent view.Also,there were alot of fruit and vegetables markets along the way!
Aaahh.The more modern world.Pointing out that I love the airport's design.
