On the way..to K.K

 Before going to Kota Kinabalu,we decided to stay in Temburong for the night.Temburong is the eastern-most district of Brunei.Its capital is Bangar.Since temburong is cut from the rest of brunei by Limbang,Malaysia,we have to endure long queue of cars.Patience is really necessary as it takes hours to just cross a small river(cross by ferry).We reach Rumah Persinggahan Kerajaan,Temburong at about 8pm.we share a block with my ngangah(uncle and auntie)and their two kids.The house is complete with a kitchen,a bedroom and a large living room.

The next day,after breakfast.We set again for our journey to Kota Kinabalu.

Lawas

At exactly 7:27 in the morning,we continued.We stopped at Hotel Seri Malaysia,Lawas where we met the others(my uncles,aunties and cousins).There are actually 5 other families(convoy) going to Kota Kinabalu with us.While we stayed in Temburong,they stayed in Lawas.

After Lawas,we went past the immigration in Merapok where we enter Sindumin.Everything went smoothly so we stop at Sipitang.Sipitang is famous for its tamu(market).There are alot of fruits here.We bought durians(a must buy,hehe) and even ate there.

 

Then,we past Beaufort,a beautiful town(no not in Carolina,in sabah ler:p).Beaufort was named after former british governer L.P. beaufort.Though in old french Beaufort means 'beautiful fort'.Another small town after Beaufort is Papar.Due to exhaustion and grumbling stomach we stop to eat lunch at Papar.Anyway Kota Kinabalu is much closer by then:D:D

Ahh..Kota Kinabalu at last.It was afternoon so went straight to our apartment.We stayed at Holiday Borneo Apartment which is on the same building with 1Borneo shopping paradise which is the largest mall in east Malaysia(cool).This apartment was booked really early.
